How coaching works

SEI & RELATIONSHIP COACH

What you want for yourself matters.

You may have a sense of something you’re missing, but not know what it is. Or you may have a sense that there is something you could be doing, but don’t know what.

Often, while feeling much frustration, we want to figure things out and “just fix things.” But this discomfort with a difficult problem can keep us from dealing with it effectively. Often, significant change happens by facing the discomfort. The beauty of coaching is that no one needs to go it alone.

I help clients listen to themselves, to uncover wants, and begin to explore alternate possibilities. I support clients to begin to look at things from a different perspective, to trust themselves and their feelings, allowing understanding to emerge. Working with a coach is a process of asking meaningful questions and non-judgmental listening, allowing clients to find their own answers.

Christina is an ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified coach who supports others to discover pathways toward deeper emotional self-awareness and effectiveness. She brings enthusiasm, compassion, and warmth to her practice of coaching and breathwork.

Christina has worked in the fields of journalism, photography, graphic design, magazine management, and philanthropy. She has owned and led a successful communications company with her husband, Collin, for nearly three decades, building the business through networking in Chicago. More recently she has been an adjunct coach at the Foundation for the Realization of Human Potential, where she coached students from around the globe. She has integrated her varied career paths, developing an affirming style to coaching and leadership, helping her clients uncover their yearnings, heart’s desires, visions, and goals.

Christina’s core belief is that the power to make changes lives within each one of us. With her gentle support, she facilitates others to achieve greater self-knowledge, satisfaction, and self-efficacy.

There is no presence in creation that has such potential for freedom as the human self.
